We are looking for an Associate / Associate Director to join our Investment Banking team in Riga.
JTech Advisory specializes on investment banking advisory for the owners of European companies on disposal of their assets to and growth capital raise from international strategic / trade buyers and financial investors. Our multinational team based in Riga is focused on cross-border transactions in the technology field, in the following sectors: Software, Fintech and Business Services. In 2022, we have successfully advised sellers and buyers in 4 transactions, in the fields of Education apps, IoT, Classifieds and CRM/EPR.
The Associate / Associate Director will be an active participant in helping to grow the business in Europe and support the origination of new mandates.
We welcome Ukrainian applicants and are willing to help to settle in Latvia.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Origination of new mandates and support with handing of current pipeline of potential mandates within European technology field;
– Communication with client representatives, potential investors and other advisors;
– Preparation of deal marketing documents (teasers, IMs) and other deliverables preparation;
– Ability to make deep and exhaustive industry research and perform company’s financial analysis;
– Perform complex valuation analysis including DCF, CCA and CTA approaches;
QUALIFICATIONS and BACKGROUND REQUIRED:
– Bachelor degree in finance or economics from a top university;
– 3+ years experience at investment bank or advisory firm in research/M&A/ECM role, or valuation/financial advisory at leading accounting firm, or at similar positions in other organizations;
– Good financial modelling skills, strong analytical, communication and time management skills;
– Ability to work in a challenging environment and to meet the set deadlines;
– Fluent English and Russian; knowledge of any Baltic/CEE language will be considered an advantage.

Kirill has more than 20 years of investment banking experience. He was involved in 60+ M&A and Capital raise transactions in advisory role, working with companies and investors like General Electric (NYSE: GE) , FLEETCOR Technologies (NYSE: FLT), Otravo (portfolio company of Waterland), STADA Group, Recordati (BIT: REC), GSK (LON: GSK), Lactalis, Puratos and many more.
In addition to J Tech Advisory, Kirill is involved in investing in early-stage online marketplaces and software companies via family office Vilandes VC, where he is the founder, and B2B software and deep-tech companies in the Easter Europe and CIS as co-founder and general partner of seed-stage fund New Nordic Ventures.
Prior to JTech Advisory, Kirill was one of the founding partners of BIC Securities (during 2007-2010 the company was a part of KBC Group (EBR: KBC) ). In 1999 Kirill teamed up with his colleague to establish BIC, and jointly led the management of the company, building BIC Securities into a leading independent M&A advisory firm in Baltic and CIS markets.
Prior to establishing BIC, he spent 6 years, with biggest Latvian financial group “Parex”, lately as head of corporate finance and member of the management committee of Parex Bank
Graduated from Riga School of Economics and Business Administration.
Arman focuses on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising in the Baltics and Eastern Europe, primarily in the technology sector, focusing on the following fields: fintech, payments, mobile gaming, iGaming and betting.
Before joining JTech Advisory, Arman spent 2.5 year at SEB Bank Corporate Banking department, providing leading Latvian and pan-Baltic companies with debt financing for MBO transactions, working capital financing and large real estate development projects. The key sectors were Technology, FMCG, Manufacturing and Real Estate.
Arman is a graduate of the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.
Alexander focuses on local and cross-border M&A deals. His experience of more than 6 years in Corporate Finance includes projects in such sectors as financial services, mining, consumer goods, construction, retail, fintech, carsharing, etc
Before joining JTech Advisory, Alexander has worked in the international audit and consulting firm Mazars, where he has been in charge of the valuation department over the last 2 years. During his career at Mazars, Alexander managed a number of valuation projects for companies operating in Switzerland, Luxembourg, Italy, the Czech Republic, etc. and in the CIS countries (Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, etc.). Before that Alexander was engaged in the valuation of intangible assets, claims on corporate banking loans, as well as business valuation in appraisal companies.
Alexander graduated from Plekhanov Russian Economic University with a degree in Valuation, as well as Polzunov Altay State Technical University with a degree in International Economics.
Artur focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and capital raising in Central and Eastern Europe and the Baltics. Working within the broad technology industry, his main focus is on payments, classifieds, and computer vision.
Before joining JTech Advisory, Artur was a part of the UBS Investment Banking division, working with Hedge Funds in the EMEA area, where he was involved in the credit risk and trade control processes. His experience also includes being a Business Developer Intern in AI iCCTV Systems start-up – SternKraft.
Vitaly advised M&A transactions in various sectors including manufacturing, infrastructure, metals&mining, power&utilities, consumer markets and other.
Prior to joining JTech Advisory Vitaly has spent 4 years in PFL Advisors, advising private investors, PE funds and state companies on acquisitions and investment projects. Before that he worked in M&A department of Reiffeisen. Previous experience includes Corporate Finance department in KPMG, where Vitaly was involved in numerous consulting projects in energy and other sectors.
Vitaly graduated Finance University under the Government of Russian Federation.
Hanna has more than 4 years of experience in financial and M&A advisory and currently her primary focus is on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising in the Baltics and Eastern Europe. Hanna is working within broad technology sector, focusing on the following sectors: fintech, deeptech, IT software for business operations and IoT.
Prior to joining JTech Advisory, for 2 years Hanna was a part of Deloitte Financial Advisory team, where she was involved in providing due diligence, valuation, modelling and business planning services to large pan-Baltic companies across wide range of sectors.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.
